ASB and SEED are pleased to announce the launch of a new 2 year ASB-SEED Foundation Tennis Scholarship to help Spot, Encourage, Enhance and Develop tennis stars, rising out of the many players at grass roots level across New Zealand.
ASB has been the Foundation Sponsorship partner of SEED for the last 4 years, and its support has been instrumental in helping exceptional womens tennis players Marina Erakovic and Sacha Jones to be competitive on the international tennis stage.
ASB has a long association with tennis in New Zealand, in particular through its sponsorship of the high profile ASB Classic Women's Tennis Tournament - the country's richest professional sporting event and a not-to-be-missed component of the summer social calendar.
ASB-SEED Scholarship Programme information will soon be emailed to all Tennis Clubs across New Zealand, inviting applications from all tennis players that meet the Scholarship criteria.
Scholarship recipients will receive significant funding per quarter to help cover the costs of coaching, travel and other expenses associated with competing at the international level.
